Financial coaching does not include consumer credit counseling, debt reduction, or investment advice. Financial coaching is not marital, relational, emotional, or psychological counseling. Financial coaching is sound, practical, biblical teaching regarding the preparation of a budget, strategies for eliminating debt, methods of harmonious budget administration, and the implementation of a family financial plan. Financial coaching consists of a structured four meeting set. The first meeting lasts for two hours. The intake forms above must be completed prior to the first meeting. The goal of the first meeting is to create a comprehensive first draft of the budget and train you how to use the budget. The three subsequent meetings will last for one hour and be scheduled after 30, 60, and 90 days. These meetings train you in the ongoing adminstration of the budget and ensure that you are using the budget in a manner that will produce ongoing financial peace.
